Multination Company, leader in rail systems, is looking for a PROJECT ENGINEER.

Under the supervision of the coordinator of the commercial department he will prepare the technical documents for the bid phase. In detail he will be the interface versus supplier during the offer preparation. He will examine and comment customer specification during the bid technical phase. He will coordinate and perform any technical work during the offer phase in terms of preliminary engineering and feasibility studies. He will make the choice of proper electrical and mechanical components suitable for the system performances, and he will prepare descriptions for such components and system groups. The resource shall estimate the variable and the fixed cost of the proposed system configuration, in cooperation with suppliers and internal purchasing office. He will follow the project till the project acquisition where he will pass the work to the Project Engineer nominated. The resource will coordinate all the project documentation during the bid phase, also if made by third external parties. He will be the technical interface instead of the customer during the offer phase. The role foresees an internal interface and coordination with the Commercial Responsible, with the Project Manager, with purchasing office, and all the company departments involved in the bid process.  He will participate to coordination meeting. His technical abilities in mechanics, pneumatic and automation allows the candidate to discuss technical solutions, and suggested architectures. Required capabilities to manage a system project, to interface his work with the customer and the other internal team members. 

Requirements:

Second level University degree Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical. Highly appreciated experience in metallic carpentry, and knowledge of materials and technologies. Good skills in system engineering for pneumatic, mechanical, electrical systems, appreciated knowledge of automation. Mechanical system development and design. Experience (even short) in project technical management as project engineer is preferred. Good Knowledge of 3D CAD better if a specific experience of Creo/Pro E, otherwise Catia V5. Good knowledge of AutoCAD. Knowledge of FEM calculus also preferred. English language at a fluent level.

The contract and the salary will be proportionate to the experience gained.
